Gingerbread Decorating Classes


This year Sugar Mama's Bakery will be hosting gingerbread decorating classes at a couple area locations, but you can also schedule us to come to your home or location of your choice. We have several night and weekend dates available from November 28, 2009 thru December 22, 2009. Cost is $40 per person. This includes a fully baked and constructed gingerbread house, icing and all the candy you will need to decorate the house as well as 2 hours of my time. In-home parties will require a minimum of 5 gingerbread houses. Call us today to book your event. Create those losting memories with your family/friends. Need houses for Thanksgiving break. S'Mores Cupcakes

These cupcakes were also made for the Casting For A Cure event last month. The theme was fly fishing and camping and such. The food was also themed around things you eat when doing either of these events. What is better than a S'mores Cupcake. I created a graham cracker cake with milk chocolate chips mixed in. Then topped each mini cupcake off with a marshmellow fluff and chocolate sprinkles. S'mores on a cupcake scale.

3D Dollhouse Cake

This is the first shot. The cake and the chocolate have been combined and I am now scultping and shaping the molded chocolate.
This is a front view of the cake.
Side view showing the cake and scupted chocolate halves.
Step two: the walls and floors are in place.
Step three: the windows are put into place.
Step four: the base for the roof is layed.
Step five: the roof is finished and the siding has been placed.
Step six: the roof railings are in place and the landscaping is finished.
Furniture is shaped.
Final step: Furniture has been placed inside the house and we are complete! $300 Serves 40-45

A Star is Born

Gingerbread Decorating Classes!
A Piece of Cake is thinking of hosting a Gingerbread decorating class in October for Halloween and then again in December for Christmas. If this is something you would be interested in attending please post a response. Depending on the interest will determain when and where we will host the class. (Remember we are in Nashville)
A Piece of Cake also has the ability to do in-home parties for the holidays. Just invite your family and friends (up to 15 people) and let us do the rest.
